Helios
Introduction
Helios is a system for controlling streetlights, it can work independently of the size of the area: sport areas, towns, cities...
It can define time schedules or act manually over the lamp, detect lamps with problems and notify them, set the illumination intensity, etc.
This powerful system let you act with lights groups or individually. And all with an intuitive interface from any terminal with Internet access, either as a mobile phone as a personal computer.
Applications
Helios has been developed for the control and management of streetlamps in villages and cities.
Helios let you control the following things
- Lights intensity.
- Times schedules.
- Alarms.
- Position.
- Consumption.

In general, any town or city, either as a rural place as a widely populated areas. In particular:
- City halls.
- Industrial areas.
Hardware Architecture
The system has only a single device per streetlight:
- Witech radio module. A microprocessor that provides intelligence to the lamp and is used as a node extending the network.
Software Architecture
The system has three autoinstallable tools. They are auto-installable, cross-platform, multilingual, and have an intuitive interface:
- HeliosAssigner. It set the position of the lamp in the map.
- HeliosConfig. Application for detection/configuration of streetlights.
- HeliosControl. Software that lets you control the intensity, consumption, alarms, time schedules, etc. It is based in web technology, that will let you control everything from any device with Internet access.
